Belgisches Viertel

The Belgian Quarter, or Belgisches Viertel, is one of Cologne’s popular downtown districts. The name is derived from street names in the vicinity, which refer to Belgian provinces or cities, and it is home to many popular bars, restaurants and shops. Make sure to go and see Brüsseler Platz, the cozy plaza at its center which is ideal for enjoying a beer amidst lounging locals.
